Chess
One of my favorite things about Portland is the public art chess boards all over the Pioneer Courthouse Square and that people actually congregate around them and play chess. It's fab. Superbly fab. It says a lot about Portland that they pick-up game of choice seems to be Chess.

This isn't there anymore, but I really liked it. It held so much meaning for the sign-enthusiast geographer in me.

Mail Master
I'm a close-to-great pen pal (would be really great if I didn't occasionally have long delays in between responses). I currently have three-ish pen pals. I think I could handle up to five at a time. Just sayin'.
