Ivar's Fish Bar
I ate some sort of shellfish here for the first time, mussels or clams or something, and they weren't that good. This sign, however, is so spectacular. and the view of the Sound was even better!

They have since remodeled this rug store and made it pseudo-modern and ugly. With a name like this, you must have the complimentary kitschy signage. C'mon.

Hotel Motel Holiday Inn
It's kinda weird to be both a motel and an inn, isn't it? Especially since Motel is just a portmanteau of hotel and motor.
